OUR HISTORY


In 2007, Michèle Côté and Audrée Michaud met at the Montreal Jewelry School; Michèle works there as a teacher and Audrée is a student finishing her training. Michèle is immediately struck by her student's talent and her determination to make her mark in the field of jewelry. The teacher, to the great happiness of her student, makes him a golden proposition; found a company combining Michèle's great expertise and Audrée's great entrepreneurial qualities.


Determined and passionate, they redoubled their efforts to realize their vision and created Flamme en rose together. It is the birth of a unique company in the field of Montreal jewelry manufacturing; a workshop-boutique managed by two women (a first in this traditionally male world), specializing in high-end custom design and having as its primary motivation the satisfaction of its customers. The opening of the store was celebrated in 2009 and it was the start of a great adventure.


Jewelers focus from the start on the design of high-end jewelry; Flamme en rose offers a unique service of tailor-made design, creation from A to Z, and takes on the audacious challenge of bringing its clients' dream jewelry to life. The motto of Flamme en rose is to combine the creativity and uniqueness of handmade jewelry with the refinement and quality found in high-end creations. A winning union!


Well aware of current issues, the Flamme en rose team understands the importance of reducing the ecological footprint and decides to offer its customers a jewelry recycling and transformation service. The idea is very simple; recover the jewels that lie dormant in jewelry boxes and give them a second life, a stylistic update. These jewelry already have sentimental value; why not transform them to give them a current look while reducing the use of raw materials as much as possible?

Michèle Côté

Michèle Côté, master jeweler with over 23 years of experience, has specialized in the manufacturing of high-end jewelry for over 15 years. Originally from the Lac Saint-Jean region and a graduate of the Montreal Jewelry School, she subsequently worked there for several years as a professor. She therefore has an incomparable mastery of jewelry creation, transformation and repair techniques.

Michèle is the expert in custom design and jewelry transformation; a meeting with a customer is enough for her to make her dream piece of jewelry a reality and, with the help of sketches, to create the model from A to Z. Creative and dynamic, Michèle loves meeting her customers, making sure to offer them exceptional service. pair by offering a multitude of possibilities and giving life to many unique gems!

In addition to specializing in design at Flamme en rose, Michèle is also in charge of developing new collections. Michèle Côté

Audrée Michaud

Jeweler Audrée Michaud has been working in the jewelry field for 14 years. Interested in jewelry making since her teenage years, she completed her training at the Montreal Jewelry School in 2007 with a special mention highlighting her great creativity. The institution immediately hired her as a professor's assistant; this experience allows him to perfect his acquired knowledge and sharpen his reflexes when solving problems.

Since the founding of Flamme en rose in 2009, Audrée has devoted herself more to the company's development projects, a natural transition that takes advantage of her great entrepreneurial and communication skills. Audrée is therefore in charge of the development of innovative projects and their realization (management, digital media, accounting, marketing). Curious, she is constantly looking for new ideas, products and techniques that ensure that Flamme en rose remains a trendy company on the lookout for trends.

Angela Marzinotto

A graduate of the Creative Arts program at Dawson College and the Montreal School of Jewelry, Angela or Angie is a true artist at heart. Passionate about contemporary art, she volunteers in many events in the city. Her jewelry creations are also tinged with it and have been exhibited in Taiwan, Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. After her studies, she over time became head of technicians and assistant professors at the Montreal Jewelry School where she worked for 10 years.

Angie is a long-time accomplice of the two founders of Flamme en rose and she agreed, in March 2018, to become their project manager. She complements Michèle's work as well as that of Audrée and her ease with the public and her joie de vivre make her very popular with customers and her colleagues.

Angela Marzinotto

A graduate of the Creative Arts program at Dawson College and the Montreal School of Jewelry, Angela or Angie is a true artist at heart. Valérie Gougeon

The passion for jewelry is not new for Valérie. From a very young age, she loved exploring her mother's and grandmother's jewelry chests and made up stories around the treasures she found there. Initially a graduate in visual arts, she literally fell in love with the blowtorch during a jewelry course at the Saidye Bronfman Training Center. She then completed her training at the Montreal Jewelry School where Michèle, co-founder of Flamme en rose, taught her.

Before joining the Flamme en rose team in 2021 as a customer experience and social media specialist, Valérie was an assistant to designer Jean-Claude Poitras, an Acredo ambassador and a wedding specialist at Birks (Bridal). Always generous and attentive, Valérie has all the qualities required to guide people in their choice and to find exactly what they are looking for.

Isabelle Rousseau

Originally from Gosselies in Belgium, Isabelle emigrated to Quebec at the age of 8. Her great sensitivity to the beauty of nature first led her towards studies in ecology but she quickly turned towards the visual arts, in search of a more creative and manual profession. During her studies at the Montreal School of Jewelry in the late 1980s, she developed a particular interest in sculpture in wax and enamel on copper.

With nearly 35 years of experience, Isabelle can do a little bit of everything in a jewelry workshop. Rather discreet by nature, we have discovered since she joined the Flamme en rose team in 2019 as a jeweler, that she is a very talented painter.

Kostiantyn Logkyi

Originally from Kharkiv in Ukraine, Kostiantyn or Kosta joined the Flamme en rose team as a master jeweler in June 2018. When young, he and his brother were passionate about building scale models and he transposed this passion for meticulous work in the making of high-end jewelry.

A civil engineer by training but unable to find work in his field in a changing country, Kosta learned the jewelry trade from his brother and accumulated more than 15 years of experience in Ukraine before immigrating to Canada in 2012 Newly arrived with his family, he completed his training at the South-West School of Trades in Montreal. Since then, he has carved out an excellent reputation in the Montreal jewelry community thanks to the quality and precision of his work.

Combining mastery of ancient and modern jewelry making techniques, Kosta stands out for his abilities to precisely reproduce the desired jewelry. His charming personality makes him an amazing work colleague.

Isabelle Rousseau

Francois Beaumier

A native of Montreal, François has been directing and editing documentary, corporate and artistic productions since completing his studies in media production in Vancouver in 1997. A fine editor and image creator, François also has several years of experience in advertising.

He has collaborated with Flamme en rose since its founding in 2009 and has put his touch on several projects as a video content director, editor and graphic designer. The poetry on the website is him! He officially joined the Flamme en rose team in May 2019 as a videographer, photographer and advertising designer. Recognized for his wisdom, the company has since made him its official therapist.

Francois Beaumier
